DR. HATEM ELFIESHAWY
A cosmetic doctor with over 20 years of surgical experience treating patients both in Australia and abroad, registered with the Medical Board of Australia and AHPRA, MED0001681725 and is a Surgical Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (FACCSM).
Born into an Egyptian, academic family in Nigeria, and raised in Egypt, Dr. Hatem's passion for medicine took root at a young age. In 2002, he earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MBBCh Hons), before diving into specialised training in general and cardiothoracic surgery. Today, he holds a Master of Surgery (MScSurg), and is recognised as a specialist and assistant lecturer in both fields, and registered in the Specialist Register of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate under Number 10447. With a particular focus on chest wall and airway reconstruction, Dr. Hatem wrote a groundbreaking research thesis on tracheal resection and reconstruction that was published and highly regarded in universities throughout Egypt 2007. His expertise then took him to Doha, Qatar, where he worked as a specialist surgeon.
In 2007, Dr. Hatem passed the primary exam for the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, England(MRCS), however in 2008 he decided to move to Australia instead, and passed the offshore Australian Medical Council exam and successfully completed his certificate (AMC Cert). In 2011, he worked as a surgical registrar for Queensland Health. There, he treated a diverse range of breast cancers, and honed his skills in skin cancer surgeries, abdominal wall hernia repairs, and reconstructions, while working as an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland. But what sets Dr. Hatem apart from the rest is his talent for precision aesthetic surgery. He blends his deep appreciation for art and physics.
